On July 27th 2024 South Arm Peninsula Men’s Shed (SAPMS) hosted a Christmas in July function at the South Arm RSL & Community Club. Around a 100 guests attended, many sporting Christmas knitwear and accessories. A magnificent Christmas feast was provided by the club. A chocolate wheel was busy, and the grand raffle was drawn.
As a fund-raiser the event was a resounding success, just about guaranteeing that it will return next July.
SAPMS wishes to thank the management and staff of the South Arm RSL & Community Club for making this event possible and enjoyable. We wish also to thank the various businesses who provided prizes to the Grand Raffle. Congratulations to the winners.
And thank you to all our guests who braved a very cold night.
